Kristen Young is a chef with over 12 years of experience working in Chicago, San Diego and now here in the Gorge. She really got into her groove in San Diego where she formed Table by Destination, a pop-up dinner group that hosted events all over the city, collaborating with breweries and wineries, creating a unique, one-of-a-kind dinner experience through food, environment and drink. She now calls White Salmon her home and hosted her first "Gorge Edition" Table by Destination dinner last summer, collaborating with new talented friends.
Kristen's style of cooking can be described as elegantly rustic. She enjoys turning familiar dishes into something new and interesting by pulling inspiration from the seasons, her garden and what can be found in nature. She's an avid baker and gardener. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors hiking, paddling, snowboarding and camping.
Summer Supper Series at Cave Creek Farm
Join us at the farm for our Summer Supper Series - an intimate backyard dinner collaboration with some of our favorite chefs, bounty from our gardens, and incredible friends - all under a starry sky. These wildly talented humans are bringing their love to you on the farm in the form of food; but they are also changemakers, mothers, fathers, health nuts, entrepreneurs, lovers, foragers, activists, nutritionists, travelers, story tellers, and so much more. We are so happy that each one of them agreed to share their gifts with all of us.

The Summer Supper Series is a seasonal, coursed meal that showcases the quality of ingredients from the farm and the talents of our guest chefs.
Dinner will include a refreshing herbal mocktail upon arrival and 2 glasses of beer, wine or kombucha from the horse trailer bar during the meal. All additional beverages must be purchased. Tea and coffee will be available with dessert.
