Sturgeon Moon
August’s full Moon was traditionally called the Sturgeon Moon because the giant sturgeon of the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain were most readily caught during this part of summer. These prehistoric-looking fish have been traced back to around 136 million years ago and many people call them “living fossils.”

Meet the Instructor
Jade Deiders is a certified Yoga Instructor based in Trout Lake, Washington:
Since 2005, I’ve been tapped into the world of health and wellness, first as a licensed massage therapist where I worked for 10 years in physical therapy and rehabilitation settings. The time I spent working as a massage therapist taught me that no two bodies are alike. As a result my teachings are breath centric while cuing to help you find the most beneficial alignment for your body in each pose. I am currently a RYT 200 registered with Yoga Alliance, a YOGABODY Breath Coach, and a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner. I have training in numerous bodywork techniques and am continuously studying to deepen my own practice and provide the best possible service I can to my clients.
The practice of yoga has grounded and nourished me through some of the most challenging times of my life. I’ve been lucky to learn from wise and inspiring individuals. Having the chance to share those lessons and experiences with my students fills me with joy. Everyone could use more yoga in their lives, so I hope to see you on the mat soon.
