Meet the Instructor
Elan Hagens, also known as Temptress Truffles, is a textile artist with a passion for applying her career of wild foraging into her projects. Born and raised in the PNW, her role as a forager and naturalist is strongly connected to the land, showing up in her bodies of work as a handspinner, weaver, knitter and dyer. As an educator, she has had the opportunity to share her passions teaching workshops at several art retreats and events for the past decade. She finds joy in seeing her students taking their new learned skills back home and making beautiful creations for themselves and loved ones.
