ArtSmart Trout Lake offers hands-on classes in support of our mission to foster arts education for all ages in the greater Trout Lake community. The Trout Lake Arts Council is a non-profit organization that has been promoting the art and artists of the Mid-Columbia for over 20 years. ArtSmart Trout Lake is a subcommittee that focuses on arts education for students of all ages in the greater Trout Lake community.

About the Class:
This class is a 4 session series from 5:30 - 7:30 PM on Wednesdays:
September 13, 20, 27, and Oct 4.
Students will learn the basics of handbuilding pottery. The class will cover pinch, coil and slab work both soft and hard. Students will make a wide range of goods including planters and bowls. The final week will be glazing.
This class is beginner friendly, but will have lots of options for growth for those with previous experience.
Adults and ages 12+ welcome.
About the Instructor:
Dyana Fiediga is a full time potter living and working in beautiful Hood River, Oregon at the Clay Commons, a community ceramics studio located downtown. She makes functional wheel-thrown pottery when she is not busy teaching the amazing community of students at the Clay Commons or choosing to be distracted by the adorable studio pup Lemon.
Class Size:
The class is capped at 12 participants. If there are less than 6 participants, the class will be cancelled and refunded.
What to Bring:
All materials for class will be provided.
Prerequisites:
No prior experience required. All skill levels are welcome.
No pets allowed.
Please park in designated parking area.
